Our team at Point Pleasant Boro School District is seeking a kitchen lead/ head cook. Qualified applicant must be able to pass a state background check to be able to work in a k-12 setting. Position pays $18-$20/ hour based on experience. Position will be for 6-7 hours per day. Please read on for additional information. Job Summary: The cook will maintain accurate and complete records and paperwork. Must be a TEAM player, in order to accomplish the end result, whether it is in preparation, service or clean-up. The menu for the adult line is primarily planned by the cook every week, this position maintains organization and cleanliness of the kitchen. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversees the production of all meals and the overall cleanliness of the kitchen. - Completes records, paperwork and other administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner. - Ensures positive relationships with all customers and internal staff. - Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
