Job Requirements: What your background should look like Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level - Analyzing logistics plans and identifying opportunities for distribution quality improvement. - Taking effective measures to reduce transportation expenses by generating and analyzing reports of transportation costs and carrier performance. - Helping optimize shipments between distribution centers and customers and facilitate communication of transportation operations between carriers, suppliers and partners. - Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date.
