Position Title: Archives Fellow Time Type: Part time Position Summary and Qualifications: The Archives Fellow assists the Archivist in special projects at the Saint Joseph University Libraries. This is a part time fellow position that lasts from July 13, 2026 - October 6, 2026. While work hours are flexible, the are during normal daytime hours. The Fellowship is made possible through the Gladys Brooks Foundation. The Saint Joseph’s University Archives and Special Collections is seeking a graduate student in the fields of public history, library/information science, or museum studies for a fellowship to assist in the organization, digitization, access, and promotion of its various collections. The Fellow will apply practical course related knowledge to digitization, archival processing, finding aid creation, and physical and virtual exhibitions. Working in an archival and special collections environment involves both intellectual and physical responsibilities, including research, writing, scanning, photography, file naming, lifting and moving boxes, climbing on ladders to reach higher shelves, cleaning, rearranging materials and putting away supplies.
