Worker Type Regular: Job Description: Summary: Working closely with Operations, Finance, and Program Management, the Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for managing inventory levels to ensure resources are consistent with production requirements. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining inventory schedules, locating, and assessing potential suppliers for materials components, and services, and managing the Work Order process for production. This role solicits and evaluates supplier quotes, coordinates and expedites Purchase Orders, maintains relationships with suppliers and ensures material is received on schedule to support AV’s Production schedule. Position Responsibilities: - Evaluate inventory of materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production. - Schedule and oversee the supply and delivery of materials and products. - Source, negotiate, and select vendors that meet the company’s quality, price, and delivery requirements. - Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers. - Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery. - Monitor inventory levels to ensure minimum stock levels are mainta...
