The ideal person for this position will be interested in a variety of project types that integrate multiple disciplines within the geotechnical engineering field. Responsibilities: Develop appropriate scope of services and manage all aspects of geotechnical explorations and CMT projects including proposal preparation, analysis, report preparation, client communications, and field observations. Provide geotechnical expertise, recommendations, and reports for clients. Perform calculations and analysis for bearing capacity, settlement, deep foundation design, and slope stability analysis. Assist with technical oversight of the soils and materials testing laboratory operations in Granger IN. Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials (e.g. soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt).
