JOB DESCRIPTION: The Desk Assistant position requires flexibility in scheduling, with the expectation that you will work a variety of non-traditional shifts including weekends, overnights, early morning hours, and holidays. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Help in dispatching crews, tracking guest bookings, and managing crew locations Manage calls from internal and external sources to assist with information gathering Monitor news, contact appropriate authorities to verify breaking news information Collaborate with the Assignment Editor to follow up on developing news stories.
