Job description

As an Industrial Engineer (IE) you will be focusing on designing, improving, and optimizing systems and processes within the Ocean Systems programs primarily to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality while reducing costs. This can involve designing new systems, implementing improvements into existing systems, or implementing new technologies. IEs work with complex systems involving people, machines, information, and materials. IEs analyze processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and identify areas of improvement. This position will utilize a wide range of knowledge including statistical analyses, operations research, human factors, and logistics. This position will require frequent coordination with Planning & Production Control, Manufacturing Engineers, and Operations Leads. Primary Responsibilities. Basic Qualifications.
