DoubleTree by the Galleria is looking for an enthusiastic, and outgoing Sales Coordinator to join the team. If you have strong interpersonal skills, previous administrative experience and the ability to work independently with little supervision, submit your resume to apply! Required Skills and Abilities: -Administrative experience required -Previous experience as hotel sales highly preferred -Previous Hilton front desk experience a plus -Excellent communication skills, verbal and written -Command of the English language, bi-lingual in Spanish a plus -Possess basic mathematical skills -High level of comfortability in working with computers to include Microsoft; Word, Excel, PowerPoint -Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and facilitate information to clients -Able to type at least 50-60 WPM Job Description: -Answer incoming calls, complete a lead form and direct the caller to the Director of Sales or Catering Manager -Assist guests with questions, changes and special requests -Create banquet event orders, letters and perform required administrative duties -Serve as liaison between the hotel and the group contact on in house groups -Implement program details inclu...
