Job description

Responsibilities: - This role will support operations at a major grocery retailer by ensuring that delivery vehicles are available, clean, and properly positioned to be loaded for deliveries. - Move vans from Yard to Fulfillment center - Clean inside and outside of vans - Perform inspection of vehicles both before, and after, operation - Read work orders determine work assignments to identify appropriate equipment needs. - Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets - Ensure the yard is clean and organized - Assist Delivery Drivers when necessary Qualifications: Education and/or experience: - Valid Driver’s License (CDL not required) - One (1) year experience with yard jockeying preferred Knowledge, skills and abilities: - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) - Ability to work with limited supervision Physical requirements: - Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time - Ability to frequently get in and out of vehicles - Ability to lift up to 75 pounds - Ability to work in a warehouse environment (concrete floors and changing temperatures)
