Job description

Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports. 2. Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions. 3. Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments. 4. Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions. 5. Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members. 6. Records patient vital signs and medical information. 7. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required: 1. Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution preferred 2. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. 3. BLS certification. 4. Minimum of 1-3 years of pediatric nursing and IV experience Preferred: 1. Perioperative and critical care experience preferred 2. Certification in area of specialty preferred 3.
