Registered Dietitian - NY Department: Food & Nutrition: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Binghamton - NY: Compensation: $65,000 - $70,000 / year Description: Registered Dietitian Full-time Day Shift Mon-Fri APPLY TODAY! We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian with good interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in helping our elderly individuals at our Skilled Long-term Care facility located in Binghamton, New York . As the Registered Dietitian , you will oversee the nutritional well-being of our residents. Conduct nutrition assessments, identifying residents’ nutritional needs and creating effective diet plans. Registered Dietitian Key Duties: - Assess and monitors the Resident’s nutritional status, provide recommendations to medical staff, and develop adequate care plans. - Evaluate the special needs of Residents regarding nutrition support, skin breakdown, and significant weight loss. - Partner with the interdisciplinary team to review and adjust resident’s care plans. - Work closely with Speech Pathologists to ensure appropriate mechanically altered diets are provided for residents with dysphagia. - Perform other job-related duties as they become req...
