Duties and Responsibilities: As a custodian, you would be expected to: This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position. - clean buildings by manually sweeping and mopping surfaces; manually and mechanically scrubbing, stripping, waxing, vacuuming, extracting, shampooing, dusting, polishing, and buffing surfaces; foaming showers and restrooms; properly selecting and mixing cleaning chemicals; chemically sanitizing and disinfecting surfaces and fixtures, etc. - use auto scrubbers, buffers, vacuum cleaners, power washers, carpet extractors, and hand tools - perform cleaning function specific to your assigned facilities - empty waste receptacles and transport and sort contents to designated disposal containers and recyclables - maintain equipment and supplies by completing routine upkeep - carpet and upholstery cleaning as assigned using deep extraction machinery...
