Job Summary United Safety is currently looking for H2S Technician based out of Grande Prairie , Fort St. John and Edmonton . The H2S Technician position is responsible for and fulfills all H2S related technical work activities required on customers’ worksites. These activities are conducted in a variety of Energy Industry upstream environments, during well drilling, servicing, and completions operations. This position executes site specific duties and tasks while ensuring compliance with United Safety quality, health, safety, and environmental policies & procedures to meet or exceed customer expectations. The H2S Technician ensures equipment is transported, installed, inspected, tested, placed, maintained, and deinstalled in accordance with the customer’s and United Safety’s procedures. In addition, the H2S Technician completes hazard assessments, conducts drills, supports in emergency response & first responder situations, performs lease control, and provides safety equipment, refresher training.
