You will be the technical and administrative support expert making the estimating process as efficient as possible. This includes document distribution, subcontractor contact, and quantity takeoffs. Reporting to our Sales Manager, you’ll work with the sales, engineering and production team. A highlight of your day to day will include: Reviewing bid documents to determine scope of work and required precast concrete products for large construction projects. Ensuring drawings, blueprints, specifications, and any data are accurate prior to cost estimating projects through communication and engineering. Calculating and preparing material and work item quantities (take offs) based on project requirements. Preparing material pricing, labor production analysis, equipment pricing, delivery expenses, timing of product requirement, and other potential cost elements that may impact the estimate.
