Metrology Equipment Engineer

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Semiconductor Metrology Equipment Engineer to support, maintain, and continuously improve advanced wafer inspection and metrology systems within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record working with critical inspection tools, ensuring maximum tool uptime, accuracy, and process capability. This role plays a key part in yield improvement, process control, and sustaining high‑volume manufacturing through expert technical support of metrology platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical ownership for semiconductor metrology and inspection equipment, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operation. - Install, qualify, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair metrology systems to minimise downtime and optimise performance. - Act as subject matter expert for inspection and surface‑analysis tools, supporting manufacturing, process engineering, and yield teams. - Lead fault finding, root cause analysis, and corrective actions across equipment, hardware, software, and process interfaces. - Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance tool availability, performance, and data quality. - Support eq...
