Job description

Overview: Oversee health services research project support, and manage grant, institutional and financial activities for Dr. Kelly’s research focused on examining RSV vaccination risks and outcomes. Essential Functions: - Help supervise all research group personnel and oversee the daily operations - Coordinate and lead research efforts at the SFVAHCS site - Coordinate the medical record abstraction of data - Participate in weekly research meetings - Recruits, hires, and trains (with the PI) research assistant(s) and other staff including contractors and/or consultants as necessary for the project - Manage and coordinate research project activities ensuring objectives are met and documented in status reports. - Assist supervisor with managing the routine, day-to-day activities, and administration of the project. - Plan, develop, complete, and submit on time all required documentation/paperwork/forms for initial and continuing human subject’s review. - Regularly review guidance, policies, and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance. - Responsible for manuscript submissions, progress tracking and formulating response letters for revision to peer-reviewed journals and abstracts fo...
