Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervision- Oversee staff in the absence of a supervisor. Assist in responding to the 24/7 Materials Management support pager. Assist in the training of employees. Act as a resource within the department for solving complex problems and troubleshooting problem areas. Systems- Maintain thorough knowledge of Workday and how to access all functions quickly. Maintain the accuracy of inventory. Perform routine inspection of item expiration dates to maintain the integrity of inventory quality and safety. Perform routine cycle counts as directed to maintain accurate inventory levels. Supply Chain- Perform tasks related to receiving, storing and distributing of products, materials, equipment and supplies. Maintain a working knowledge of supplies. Make recommendations for additions, deletions or changes in par levels based on knowledge of supplies needed and usage. Order stock and non-stock items associated with assigned areas. Check goods received against purchase orders, invoices and records. Deliver materials to appropriate area and store.
