PSE's Office of Controller team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Accountant II - Energy position! Specific details regarding the work arrangements for this position will be discussed in further detail during the interview process. Job Description: In this role, the accountant will be primarily responsible for the detailed review of wholesale power transactions under tight deadlines. The person occupying this position will also be responsible for billing and ensuring timely payment according to contract terms. Other duties include performing moderately complex accounting and analysis, preparing journal entries and reconciliations and other tasks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records. The accountant will also ensure SOX procedures and controls are being complied with and working according to documentation.
