Business Process Analyst

Job description

The Business Process Analyst is responsible for handling smaller projects related to one department or system with limited scope and complexity. This role involves analyzing, documenting, and improving basic business processes to enhance efficiency and streamline business operations. The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders to refine current business processes, identify opportunities for improvement and ensure solutions align with business needs. Business Process Analyst responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following: Maintain understanding of the overall assignment objective, the functional process, supporting technology applications, and desired outcomes to ensure alignment and successful project completion. Serves as a change agent in encouraging the development of new processes, systems, and people where legacy processes are culturally engrained. Lead business process reviews with project stakeholders to identify operational gaps and inefficiencies.
