Has primary responsibility for accomplishing planned maintenance on typical mechanical plant systems and equipment. Carries a pager and provides direct response to hospital - clinical staff for general maintenance and facilities service requests. During weekend, holiday and evening hours provides primary responsibility for monitoring and service of all physical and mechanical plant equipment/systems and is often the Hospital's first response to critical equipment failures and internal disasters.
