Job description

· Effectively lead two board production lines, Supply Chain and Quality Department. Currently oversees approximately 114 employees consisting of 2 General Foremen, 4 Foremen, and 16 Supervisors. · Responsible for training, motivating and maintaining a level of safety for all department employees to provide for an efficient operation, consistent with overall company safety objectives. · Champion continuous improvement across the department through standard work, Reflection meetings, to include creation of value-added metrics on Reflection boards, GEMBA walks and accountability. Be data driven to initiate decision making. · Ability to proactively develop and implement specific strategies to meet efficiency goals. · Responsible for ensuring departments are following all USG bulletins as well as UL and PEI bulletin requirements. · Verify all departments are on track and exceeding established cost goals. · An ability to recognize employee’s strengths and weaknesses provide coaching and motivate employees as individuals and a team. · Development planning and implementation for department employees on a continual basis is necessary. · Development of a realistic succession plan is essentia...
