Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $53,500 - Midpoint: $66,900 (Salaried E8) Department/Organization: 223101 - Dean's Office-Nursing: Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Job Summary: The Postdoctoral Fellow provides for an internship and continuation of scholarly activity and research after achieving the PhD or other doctoral degree under the direction of a senior faculty member who serves as a mentor for the postdoctoral appointee. Additional Department Summary: The Capstone College of Nursing invites applications for a full time Postdoctoral Research Fellow with a focus on chronic disease prevention and management in rural communities. This position provides robust opportunities for scholarly development, manuscript and grant writing, mentorship, and career preparation for a future faculty or research career. Works closely with faculty mentor(s) to advance research that enhances preventive care strategies and addresses and improves health outcomes for rural populations experiencing high burdens of chronic conditions (e.g., substance use, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, infectious diseases).
