Lead GIS DevOps Engineer

What's the role? We are looking for a Lead GIS DevOps Engineer to found and build our GIS Platform & DevOps capability. This will be the first engineering role on the team, responsible for designing, deploying, and operating our ArcGIS Enterprise platform on a customized AWS EKS (Kubernetes) environment . This role is ideal for a highly autonomous engineer who enjoys hands‑on problem solving , operating complex platforms, and turning loosely defined requirements into reliable production systems. Key Responsibilities: Platform Engineering & Operations (Primary Focus) - Design, install, configure, upgrade, and operate ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, Server, Data Store, Web Adaptors). - Own platform availability, performance, scalability, and security . - Implement HA and DR designs and validate them through testing. - Act as the primary on‑call escalation and technical authority for ArcGIS Enterprise.
