Construction Materials Lab Technician

Job description

Braun Intertec is seeking a Construction Materials Lab Technician to join our Dallas, TX office. As a technician, you will perform a variety of testing on construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. Responsibilities: - Receive and log concrete and soil samples - Performs and understand various laboratory test procedures - Assist in AMRL and CCRL (regulatory standards) assessments - Assist with Braun Quality system for the laboratory - Enter and understand lab data - Other miscellaneous laboratory tasks as assigned Required Skills: - Ability to work independently - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals - Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form - Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis - Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook Required Experience: - High School diploma or equivalent - Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record - The ability to lift 50-75+ pounds #LI-MJ1 Braun Intertec is a Drug-Free Workplace and requires all new hires to complete a pre-employment drug screen test, criminal ba...
