Summary: Reporting to the Regional Asset Protection Manager, the Market Asset Protection Manager manages the site Asset Protection team in two or more Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s retail store locations in a geographical area. This role is responsible for proactively protecting all company assets, including people, property, and proprietary information. This position assists in planning, analyzing, evaluating, and leading the Safety Security and Compliance function in the retail store to enhance bottom line profitability through shrink and risk reduction. This position proactively leads all internal and external investigations relating to criminal activity to reduce theft and fraud exposure and leads the development of a shrink elimination culture in the store through education on asset protection initiatives. Essential Functions: Proactively identify and implement procedures to influence change on operational processes or training gaps that are causing profit loss or shrink to the retail environment.
