Senior Health Safety and Security Advisor

Job description

What's the role?: - As part of a shared services team, contribute to and engage in national strategies to manage and improve safety, security and wellbeing. - Provide specialist advice on matters including: editorial and broadcast risk, health, wellbeing, ergonomics, psychosocial risks, driving, office-related injuries and fatigue. - Maintain injury management procedures including collaborating with injury and claims management service providers to address workers compensation related matters across our different insurance schemes. - Continue to improve return to work programs, including acting as an internal point of contact for injury management support for HR business partners and coaching leaders in RTW practices. - Partner with business leaders and staff in assigned business areas to raise awareness of and build accountability for managing health, safety and wellbeing risks. - Conduct safety audits, inspections and workplace incident investigations. - Actively monitor and analyse health and safety performance and contribute to the development of appropriate interventions based on effectiveness trends and gap analysis.
