Company: Allegheny Health Network Job Description: This clinical adjunct position could attend one of the Pittsburgh-area AHN hospitals for clinical adjunct, as determined based upon coverage area, clinical group, and director assignment. GENERAL OVERVIEW: This role serves in an adjunct faculty role for the AHN Schools of Nursing. This nurse has the authority, responsibility, and accountability for clinical instruction of students. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Explores creative and innovative teaching and learning strategies on the clinical unit, providing quality instruction to groups of students and individuals as needed providing for daily goals and a plan of care for patients Provides documentation of the students’ progress and sets goals and timelines with didactic faculty leaders for the accomplishments of the course objectives. Supports continuous learning and commitment to lifelong learning in the clinical area by sharing research, materials from professional organizations, presenting on the unit, and teaching students.
