Additional responsibilities include addressing the needs of nursing and medical personnel regarding drug disposition and usage; counsels patients and health care professionals by providing general and patient specific drug information; ensures timely and medically appropriate dispensing. The Clinical Pharmacist participates in the patient management and quality programs of the Specialty Pharmacy. Additional Job Description: Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred.
