Job Summary: Responsible for receiving and processing outage requests for Transmission facilities for maintenance of lines and station equipment while maintaining adequate system stability and security. Coordinates activities with the various departments of the Company to maintain adequate transmission facilities and notifies proper personnel regarding outages. Responsible for assisting in the supervision of assigned personnel in carrying out the safe, efficient and continuous operation of the transmission system. Has the responsibility and authority to comply with NERC Reliability Standards regarding transmission operation in order to help ensure the stable and reliable operation of the bulk electric system.
