Job Summary/Basic Function: The purpose of this position is to work closely with the Director, OIT Communications to develop and provide communications planning, content, and resources for students, faculty, and staff. This role supports IT services by translating technical systems, processes, and changes into clear, user-focused content and resources. The position will design and deliver written communications, digital materials, web content, and technology support resources; collaborate with project managers to plan communication strategies for projects; manage outage and maintenance notifications; and utilize analytics and metrics to assess effectiveness within a cycle of continuous improvement. Department Overview: OIT Communications provides strategic communication support for the university’s technology services and initiatives. The team partners with OIT and campus stakeholders to plan, create, and deliver clear, accessible content that helps the university stay informed and engaged with the technology it relies on every day.
