Estimator - Data Comms and Security/Access Control

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for data comms, security, access control, CCTV and MATV projects, from the conceptual stage through to the final bid submission. You are required to have a deep understanding of the above-mentioned systems, construction processes, and the ability to interpret scope of works, drawings, and project specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development of detailed, competitive, and technically robust estimates across structured cabling, communications, and electronic security systems. - Interpret complex documentation (drawings, specifications, schedules, room data sheets, performance briefs) to define accurate scopes of work and pricing breakdowns. - Work closely with project delivery teams to ensure continuity between tender intent and execution. - Support project managers/supervisors during project initiation with handover packs, scope clarifications, and risk registers etc. This is to extend to the project lifecycle when required for continual support. - Liaise with key subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing, build strong relat...
