Job Description Reporting to the Senior Manager for Data Governance, the Statistician will be responsible for working on projects to evaluate methods, procedures, and data obtained from various sources to improve customer service and department operations. The Statistician will initially focus on assisting the Senior Manager for Data Governance with ensuring usability, consistency, and integrity of data as well as assisting on development of dashboards, standalone reports, and compiling data sets and analysis to identify areas for system improvements. The Statistician will exercise latitude in their responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following: NOTE: IF THIS APPOINTMENT IS MADE ON A PROVISIONAL/TEMPORARY BASIS PURSUANT TO 65 OF THE NYS CIVIL SERVICE LAW, NO TENURE OR PERMANENCE ACCRUES TO AN INCUMBENT IN THIS POSITION BY VIRTUE OF SUCH APPOINTMENT.
