Job description

The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith based organization, has a job opening for a Store Helper for the Family Store , located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Job Summary: Family Store Sorters are responsible for daily sorting and pricing of all goods to be distributed to each store. Sorters are required to learn proper tagging and label recognition of each apparel item as well as household goods. Sorters must consult with the Assistant Manager of Sorting Operations on any pricing or sorting questions. All sorters will be given a daily sorting goal and are accountable for completing their goal before finishing their shift. All Sorters report directly to the Assistant Manager of Sorting Operations. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED: Licenses and Certifications: Approved background check report required. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements, ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
