WHAT DOES A TRAFFIC SUPERVISOR DO?: Responsible for the management of all inbound/outbound shipments and yard control at the Distribution Center. Will coordinate with Freight Forwarders and 3PL logistics providers to ensure proper workflow, shipment prioritization and order volume availability. Role is supported by a Load/Unload Coordinator. ABOUT YOU: The ideal candidate will have experience with YMS, Freight Forwarders, OTR, and intermodal. The incumbent is expected to take initiative, think, and act in the spirit of continuous improvement, and escalate concerns appropriately. WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO: - Overseas team of five admins over two shifts. - Responsible for the management of all inbound/outbound shipments and yard control at the Distribution Center. - Coordinates with Freight Forwarders, 3PL Domestic logistics provider, and internal customer service to ensure proper workflow, shipment prioritization and volume availability. - Manages and measures the effectiveness of the Freight Forwarder and 3PL logistics provider through KPI reporting. - Responsible for the Export Shipments to the Caribbean and to Custom Bonded Warehouses. -...
