Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a local client in Woodstock, GA. Candidates who have a background working as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial setting are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: Requirements: - Set up packaging and filling equipment by adjusting to product specifications. - Identify and promptly correct problems on the filling line to minimize downtime. - Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs to maintain production efficiency. - Complete preventative maintenance requirements and address potential breakdowns to ensure equipment reliability. - Identify and address continual or persistent problems on the filling equipment. - Maintain daily downtime sheets and submit them to the Plant Manager at the end of each shift. Document these issues on the downtime log. - Routinely maintain PM Logs and submit them to the Plant Manager on a weekly basis. - Always prioritize and maintain a safe work environment. - Assume other duties and responsibilities as required by Management. - Experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, and pressurized manufacturing equipment. - Prior experience in troubleshooti...
