JOB SUMMARY: The Production Supervisor oversees daily operations on the production floor to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role leads a team of production employees, coordinates workflow, resolves issues in real time, and ensures production targets and deadlines are consistently achieved. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production employees to meet production schedules and quality standards. - Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and manage labor to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime. - Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment; enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety checks. - Provide on-the-floor coaching, direction, and feedback to production staff; assist in performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when necessary. - Troubleshoot production issues, equipment breakdowns, or delays in coordination with maintenance and engineering teams. - Ensure accurate reporting of production metrics, downtime, scrap, and other operational data. - Lead start-of-shift meetings and communicate daily goals and expectations clearly to the team. - Partner with Quality Assurance to u...
