Court Reporter, First Judicial District (Temporary Floating)

Job description

The First Judicial District is seeking qualified applicants interested in working as a Stenographic Court Reporter in a temporary position with various judges throughout the First District. Work assignments will be coordinated through the Central Assignment Office. In-person, hybrid, or remote options will be considered for this position. This is a part time (0.50FTE), temporary position through approximately June 30, 2027. Court Reporters have the opportunity to capture and preserve the court record while serving the public in a professional capacity through the administration of justice. The First Judicial District operates on a daily calendar system, providing employees the opportunity to report many different types of court proceedings. The First District consists of seven southern metro counties including Carver, Dakota, Goodhue, Le Sueur, McLeod, Scott, and Sibley.
