Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Carpenter will be responsible for working safely in all areas on the mill site. They will be a key player in company-wide continuous improvement efforts. You'll Do: - Scaffolding - Building repairs and maintenance - Building and repairing cabinets - Office renovations - Office furniture assembly - Forming and concrete work - Equipment base grouting You have: - A valid Red Seal Carpenter certification - Masonry and Scaffolding experience - Heavy industry experience - Commitment to working safely and creating a safe work place - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Able to work independently as well as part of a team - A valid Class 5 Drivers License Compensation Package: - The hourly pay rate for this position will follow the collective agreement between Unifor 1115 and Cariboo Pulp Ltd., which is currently $48.66/hour. - Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, a...
