The VDH is made up of a statewide Central Office in Richmond and 35 local health districts. The Virginia Department of Health Pittsylvania-Danville Health District is seeking a qualified candidate for a Housekeeping Worker role. Performs routine custodial and housekeeping services and assures security of the buildings. Characteristic duties include: collecting trash, litter, and debris from the buildings and grounds; vacuuming carpets; mopping floors; cleaning and disinfecting restrooms; and setting up rooms for meetings and conferences. Typically follows established guidelines for safety, security, and work priority.
