Description: JOB SUMMARY: Practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice as well as within a client and family centred care model and the vision and values of Medical Imaging across the Lower Mainland. Position transcribes and types a variety of medical dictation and other documentation such as diagnostic radiology reports, medical consults and clinical histories from a centralized dictation system utilizing the Radiology Information System, computerized equipment and intermediate word processing software. Responds to work status enquiries, photocopies, faxes and distributes reports in accordance with established procedures as required.
