Overview Great opportunity within a fast-growing business platform at a well-established development company! Gilbane Development Company is seeking an experienced professional to expand our affordable housing & mixed income platform in the New York, NY market. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of affordable housing development, including overall deal structuring, land planning, entitlement process, finance, design and construction. Responsibilities: - Assist with execution of current development pipeline with properties in various stages - Oversee Analysts & Associates project feasibility studies (Market research, underwriting, investment thesis) and financial closing. - Lead stakeholders through Design, Construction Cost exercises, and Value Engineering - Project Management Lead through due diligence, entitlement & permitting, scheduling, and managing the critical path - Consult with Legal & Finance partners for completing the LOI/PSA, Operating Agreements, Consultant Contracts, and Construction Contracts - Sourcing new development opportunities within affordable housing - Day to day liaison with design/construction team, clients, and stakeholders. - Commu...
