Construction & Capital Projects Director

Job description

Responsibilities Program / Project Management: - Work with industry-leading consultants, construction managers, subcontractors, and vendors in a collaborative fashion to delivery high quality programs - Provide direct support to the individual team leads and project managers overseeing design and construction projects - Manage and organize workload distribution among the team to ensure project deadlines are met - Understand and enforce detailed policies and procedures that project managers must follow when managing projects - Review development of all capital funding packages for projects to ensure scope is in line with existing standards - Review all budgeting and understand pricing variances across different markets - Partner with Procurement to ensure competitive pricing on all contracts and policy is followed on bidding guidelines - Work with team leads and project managers to reduce costs on projects being submitted through scope and specification changes - Participate in the annual capital planning/budgeting process and develop budgets for planned projects - Responsible for ensuring proper governance related to the approval of every commitment, invoice, and change order gener...
