Description The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the assignment of inbound trailers to dock doors while providing exemplary levels of customer service to drivers and other visitors. Additionally, the warehouse clerk will be responsible for assigning work to warehouse employees, track key metrics and assist with billing. In this role, the incumbent will assume responsibility for the quality standards and customer service to all visitors to the facility. The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for all administrative tasks to support receiving, warehouse operations, shipping and billing. Duties and Responsibilities: - Must be trained on the WMS system and understand all necessary operations within the warehouse office and appropriate reports and other documentation. - Accurately sign in inbound trailers. Review manifest, trailer # against driver sign in. - Assign inbound trailers to appropriate dock door and warehouse laborer. - Accurately sign in outbound trailers against driver sign in. - Review outbound paperwork, assign outbound loads to the appropriate dock. - Accurately prepare all paperwork for inbound and outbound loads. - Communicate necessary...
