Bargaining Unit: UUP Job Summary: The Department of Pharmacy at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant / Pharmacy Technician, Outpatient/Retail. The successful candidate will: - Assist Pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory and maintaining patient records as directed by the Associate Director of Pharmacy; enter all medication orders for verification. - Order, receive, and stock inventory from medication distributor daily; repack bulk pharmaceuticals. - Participate in inventory functions, such as conducting routine expired drug checks, including, but not limited to, to recall removal with communication to the Pharmacist. - Demonstrate c...
