Job Description Applications are invited for an NIH-funded postdoctoral position in the JK Lifespan Development lab of Dr. Jungmeen Kim-Spoon, in the Department of Psychology at Virginia Tech (http://www.psyc.vt.edu/labs/jklifespan/). Research in the lab integrates developmental psychopathology and decision neuroscience approaches to investigate emotion, cognition, and personality processes, brain function, psychopathology and health risk behaviors in adolescents and young adults. We use a variety of methods including behavioral tasks, interviews, questionnaires, and functional magnetic resonance imaging to understand developmental trajectories of risk and protective mechanisms that contribute to health and adjustment. Responsibilities will include (1) conducting advanced statistical analyses and modeling of behavioral and neuroimaging data for scholarly publication, and (2) contributing to ongoing longitudinal data collection and data processing, mentoring graduate and undergraduate students, and supervising the research coordinator.
