Under the direction of the Branch Manager, the technician repairs, refurbishes, and maintains engine-driven welding equipment and generators while contributing to a safe and supportive working environment. Contributes to a culture of safety by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc’s health and safety guidelines. Repairs and refurbishes all Electric and Engine Drives. Assembles electric, diesel, gas, and propane equipment for rental. Tests and calibrates machines to ensure they are ready to serve our customers. Repaints parts, touches up paint, and applies decals to welders to maintain a professional appearance. Replaces defective parts and completes essential preventative maintenance.
