Job description

The Electronic Controls Hardware Design Engineer III is responsible for the electrical design of embedded microprocessor based electronic controls for HVAC and water heating products including requirements, design, qualification, and life cycle support. Will work to implement and extend a common controls platform strategy within Rheem. This is a key position on the electronic controls team within Rheem’s Advanced Technology Integration organization, providing advanced technologies and systems solutions for Rheem’s Water Heating, Air Conditioning, Friedrich, HTPG, Eemax, Raypak, Intergas and IBC business units. This position will serve our Advanced Technology Integration Division , located in Indianapolis, IN (Onsite) . Work with systems engineering, product engineering, and marketing to capture electronic controls requirements for specific HVAC and water heating applications. Develop controls designs with associated circuits, schematics, design analysis, bill of materials, assembly drawings, and other required documentation using common ECAD and other design tools.
