Job Summary The Instrumentation & Controls Technician is responsible for the maintenance of all electrical control devices within the plant. Day Shift & On Call: Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. - Read and interpret electrical drawings and instructions to rebuild, install and calibrate equipment. - Aid and assist procurement of Electrical equipment. - Troubleshoot controls and electrical system to ensure proper operation of all plant equipment. - Be able to communicate and interface with upper management in a responsible and professional manner. - Be fluent in installation and programming all electrical devices to include VFDs, PLCs, and instrumentation. - Responsible for the loading of programming and installation of it into PLC's and/or the drawing of Ladder Logic diagrams to match such. - Aid in the facility maintenance/repair as needed. - Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and programs. - Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigne...
