Warehouse Team Leader 2nd Shift

Job description

Reporting to the Manager Warehouse, you will lead a group of warehouse associates in executing daily warehousing tasks including material handling, shipping and receiving, and inventory control. You will ensure team members follow established procedures and safety guidelines, maintain accurate records using Warehouse Management Systems and SAP, and communicate effectively with peers and supervisors. A Taste of Your Responsibilities: - Coordinate warehousing operations and production needs to support plant goals. - Maintain timely loading, unloading, and scheduling of materials and finished product to meet plant and corporate objectives. - Oversee shipping and receiving operations to ensure efficient handling of raw materials and customer orders. - Establish and maintain warehousing rotation and hold programs. - Conduct periodic audits of inventory to confirm accuracy and identify obsolete product. - Enforce the plant’s safety program, including Good Manufacturing Practices. - Monitor the warehousing area and team members to eliminate work hazards and unsafe practices. - Monitor equipment, submit work orders for repairs, and recommend changes that support safe operation. - Train ind...
