POSITION FUNCTION: Perform custodial and janitorial functions at city owned buildings and facilities. KEY DUTIES: Vacuum, shampoo carpets, wet and dry mop, strip, wax and polish floors, dust, clean, sanitize and disinfect surfaces. Dispose of refuse, recyclable and green waste materials; operate various custodial equipment such as auto scrubbers, burnisher, carpet cleaner steamer, wet vacuum, regular vacuums, defoamer, upholstery steamer, power washers, leaf blowers, sweeper push along, Clorox 360 and EMist and perform minor servicing as required.
